To mark the first day of World Space Week, Europe’s first female commander of the International Space Station Samantha Cristoforetti has spoken from space alongside the ‘Barbie astronaut’ modeled on herself. Cristoforetti took questions from young girls back on earth as part of an effort to inspire girls to consider careers in science. CNN’s Isa Soares reports.
